For the past four years, you and members of our community have joined together at the Hampton G. Davis Golf Tournament to honor the legacy of Safe Passage’s Little Advocate. Hampton G. Davis is the son of a long-time Safe Passage employee Lisa Glazebrook. Lisa serves as the Child Advocacy Center Coordinator. Hampton passed away in an UTV accident on February 28, 2021. Hampton was a bright light that was taken from us too soon. He filled our creaky building with laughter and some memorable pranks. Most of all, Hampton supplied our office with an abundance of joy. He played with children accompanying their parents to advocacy or therapy, and with children who shared their stories of abuse and neglect with our trained and dedicated forensic interviewers. He sometimes did his homework here, forcing us to admit that we were, in fact, not smarter than a third grader when it came to math and history. Hampton’s legacy represents the unlimited potential that we have for all children in York County.
Your donation can make a real difference in the lives of the children we serve. With your help, we can continue to provide vital services and support to children impacted by abuse and neglect. Donate now.
